Week of 1/10/12

This week our target in Maths is bridging ten. We have been looking at setting in English using the Hodgeheg. This weeks spelling pattern is remove the "e" add "ing". In groups the children have been given a research task and will be developing a power point task on mighty mountains. We have been learning how to use a Moxie collage on the ipads to make mountain posters.

    Hi my name is kieran, what's your's? I am 7 years' old and next month I will be 8.
    I live in Wales, I go to a fantastic school and I have a lot of COOL friends', my best friend is Leo. Whose your best friend?
    In school we are learning about mountains' and volcanos'. In our P.E lesson we made a dance up about volcanos'. We made a pyramid out of our bodies' I was the on the very top, so I had to trust my friends' to hold me up!

    P.E was the BEST last week. WE did a volcano dance, I was on top of the pyramid, it was scary! Mr. Hymphries ROCK'S!!

    our week about volcanoes We started painting the volcano it was made it out of papermachier. and I also broght some photos of me in pompeii and it was mount vesuvious. and we wached a little video about volcanoes and mrs.M made a bottle of water EXSPLODE!!! it was amazing!!!
